ASIPP is nominated for China Quality Award

The Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (or ASIPP) is granted the Nomination Award at the 3rd China Quality Award ceremony, as the recognition for its ‘significant innovative achievements in the area of quality management mode, method and system’.

On the award certificate it is written 'Fusion of Originality, Pursue of Quality Perfection', which interprets ASIPP's innovative management of mega-science projects, including the construction of EAST, the participation in ITER and the cooperation with international partners.

The quality management mode, method and system which ASIPP has developed in the past twenty years is believed to be conducive to and drawn on by the implementation a construction of other mega-science projects and infrastructures in China.

China Quality Award is the highest state honor in the quality field in China, which consists of China Quality Award and China Quality Nomination Award. Every two years, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China organizes the selection and holds the award ceremony.
