The International Conference on Magneto-Science 2019 (ICMS 2019) was successfully held between October 11-14th, 2019 in Hefei, China.

ICMS 2019 was hosted by High Magnetic Field Laboratory, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CHMFL)for the first time and professor KUANG Guangli and professor ZHANG Xin from CHMFL chaired this conference.

Over170 experts and scholars from all over the world gathered in Hefei and conducted a full exchange and discussion on multidisciplinary research under the magnetic field, reflecting the latest international research trends and the future trend of discipline research.

The conference program consisted of 63 English and 4 Chinese oral presentations as well as 42 poster presentations. The attendees also had a chance to visit the steady high magnetic field facility at CHMFL.

This conference builds an international bridge for multidisciplinary frontier scientific research and academic exchanges under high magnetic field, promotes the latest technology and research progress of China's magneto-science to an international perspective, and promotes and improves the discipline development and core competitiveness of China'smagneto-science.

The first ICMS was held in 2005 and every two years thereafter. It intends to provide an opportunity to foster critical discussion and facilitate extensive information exchange by active scientists throughout the world, who are conducting researches about magnetic field influences imparted on chemical, physical, and biological phenomena, in addition to magnetic processing of materials.
