At the invitation of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Dr. Alain Becoulet, director of Institute for Research on Magnetic Fusion of French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA/IRFM), deputy director of International Fusion Energy Cooperation Center (IFEC), long-term friendly cooperative partner of Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ASIPP) joined the International Conference on Frontier Sciences of Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing on Nov. 7 by giving a talk entitled “ Fusion Energy: Domesticating the Stars”.
