Science Island donated medical supplies to its overseas partner organizations including nearly one hundred thousand medical masks to Inernational Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor Organization (or IO), National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (or ENEA) and the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (or CEA).

These donated medical supplies had started off its transportation on 12th March and flew over seven thousand miles to European continent.

Medical supplies across the world have going through a severe shortage with the picking up number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of COVID-19.

And previously earlier this February, Science Island staff to ITER site have expressed medical masks to their home country supporting China in fighting the coronavirus.

With a whole-nation response to the outbreak, China has now obtained enormous success in getting the outbreak under control. And the country has been gradually returning to its normal operation from its previous shut down.

Science Island’s overseas partners delivered their thank-you note to express their real appreciation for the medical supplies.
