On July 23, Division of International Collaboration (DIC), HFIPS, held a seminar on science island, aiming to share knowledge about international science and technology exchange and cooperation, provide an overview on international communication skills as well as cultivate International Talents. About 100 people including researchers and students from seven institutes of HFIPS joined this seminar.

The course was conducted in a combination of special lectures, in which experts shared their international experience, in ITER organization for example, and gave suggestions about how to become vocational international talents.

On this seminar, The International Cooperation Promotion Award (ICPA), which is set by DIC, was granted to two HFIPS groups.

One was The ITER TAC1 Group from ASIPP, for their three years effort of facilitating China joint group in winning ITER Organization TAC 1 bid. Another awarder was The Quantum Center Team from ISSP who have expand international cooperation by making comprehensive collaboration with world-class experts to promote scientific development

Supported by HFIPS, ICPA is an annual award to individual or group who have made great contribution to international cooperation promotion. 2021 is the first year for this award.
