Congratulations, class of 2020!

This summer belongs to those young graduates, the class of 2020 who are authentic, energetic and innovative.

It is Science island graduation season when a group of young talented people say goodbye to the years that they have spent on this island, to express their gratitude to those bight people who entered their life and inspired them.

It is Science island graduation season for those youngs who have found what is important to them and will stay true to themselves and then open their arms to embrace without fear the bright future.

It is also a special season for the whole island to celebrate class of 2020’s graduation and to say big THANKS for what they have done here during the past countless days and nights.

Yes, it is a season to say goodbye but the young continue on their new journey where Science Island will always back them up.

This June, Science Island kicks off a series of activities to celebrate graduation of class 2020.

Ceremonies to celebrate graduation
A graduation ceremony was held on July 18 having more than four hundred postgraduate students and PhDs to attend. The ceremony lasted for one hour and a half during which those students have received their certificate and scholarships.

Also in June, several ceremonies were held with research units to celebrate a happy ending of a stage of students’ life.

A panel discussion with international students
During the graduation season, HFIPS held its first panel discussion with international students to exchange ideas and thoughts for graduate education and to share wonderful stories as well.

There were nearly twenty international students attended the panel discussion in which they have a quick look at what HFIPS will do to enhance its internationalization in the near future and those international students shared at the same time what on this island touched them in the past and their plans after graduation as well.
