Prof. Gongming Wang from University of Science and Technology of China was invited to visit Institute of Intelligent Machines, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences on Sep 13th. The lecture that Prof. Wang gave is titled of “Chemically modified nanostructures for energy conversion and storage”.
Prof. Wang firstly introduced the performance of chemically modified metal oxide semiconductor for photoelectric chemical hydrogen production. And then he discoursed his work of assistant microbial for photoelectrochemical hydrogen production and chemically modified nanostructures for electrochemical energy storage. Students and professors joined the discussion about the influence of chemically modified operation, the condition for electrolysis of water and the future of energy storage material.
Prof. Wang is a researcher in the University of Science and Technology of China. His research focuses on acquiring renewable energy and energy storage. He has published more than 50 papers on Science Advances, Nano Letters, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Angewandte Chemie, Energy Environmental & Science, ACS Nano, Journal of Photochemistry and Photobiology C: Phyotochemistry review and Nano research and Nanoscale.
