Professor REN JinChang from University of Strathclyde，UK visited the Environmental Optics Center of Anhui Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics on July 23.

Professor REN JinChang gave an academic report to introduce the major situation of the university of Strathclyde and analyze three main methods of hyperspectral image processing in detail.

Then, Prof. REN showed his team’s typical application cases and the broad application prospect of hyperspectral remote sensing data.

Finally, Prof. REN and AIOFM researchers had an intensive discussion on scheme of hyperspectral experimental, sample sampling of hyperspectral data, processing algorithm and other issues.

And Prof. REN had a lab tour to the Laboratory of Environmental Optics Center.
