Supported by “Special Exchange Program of Chinese Academy of Sciences”, Dr. Dmitry Sergachev and Dr. Igor Gulyeav from Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics of Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences visited Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ASIPP) this October.

As the experts in arc plasma torch and its application area, Dr. Sergachev and Dr. Gulyeav gave two presentations respectively entitled: Electric Arc Plasma Torches & Technologies; Plasma Spraying of Protective and Functional Coatings, which introduced the basic information and latest progress in that area.

After the reports, the speakers and audience conducted exchanges and discussions on researches of mutual interest and discussed the possibility of further cooperative research in the future.
