LIU Jianguo

LIU Jianguo, male, Professor at Anhui Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics(AIOFM), Chinese Academy Sciences (CAS), and technology innovation talents winner, was born in Tianshui City, Gansu Province in November 1968. He was graduated from Northwest Normal University in 1991, and received his Master and PhD degree in Optics from AIOFM, CAS in 1994 and 1999 respectively. He is currently a deputy president of Hefei Institutes of Physical Science, CAS, and the director of Key Laboratory of Environmental Optics and Technology, CAS (CASHIPS). He serves as one of the expert members of Resources and Environment Technology of "Twelfth five-year" National 863 Program.

 

He engages in optical environment pollution monitoring technology and optical remote sensing research. As the projects director, he has completed the 863 project "Key techniques of urban air quality monitoring system research and development", "Atmospheric fine and ultrafine particles rapid on-line monitoring techniques", and the NSFC (national natural science fund of China) project "Tunable diode laser spectroscopy for atmospheric pollution monitoring", along with other national and municipal science and technology research projects. He has won more than 30 patent license, published more than 100 papers. He was awarded Second Class National Progress Prize in Scientific and Technology in 2007, 2011 and 2015, respectively, and has five times won First Class provincial and ministerial Progress Prize in Scientific and Technology.
