ZHANG Weijun

Dr. ZHANG Weijun  received his B.S. degree in physics from University of Science and Technology of China in 1984 and his M.S. and Ph. D. degrees in optics from Anhui Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (AIOFM), Hefei Institutes of Physical Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 1987 and 1991, respectively.

 

Since 1991 he has been on the faculty of AIOFM. He worked in Max-Planck-Institut für Stromungsforschung of Germany as a postdoctoral research fellow from 1993 to 1994. In 1998, he was appointed as a professor.

Research field:

(1) Developing of high sensitivity laser spectroscopy and mass spectroscopy instruments for real time detection of trace pollutant, aerosols, and important free radicals; (2) Atmospheric physics and chemistry under the background of the study of environmental pollution and climate change.
