LIU Jinhuai

Dr. LIU JinHuai received the B.S. degree in inorganic chemistry from Yunnan Agricultural University, China, in 1982 and the Ph.D. degree in inorganic chemistry from Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, in 2003. He had been a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Chemistry at the Brown University, USA, from September 1986 to September 1988 and in the New York University of Technology, USA, from October 1988 to December 1989. As a Visiting Scientist, he had been in University of Cincinnati, USA, respectively.

 

Currently, he works as a Researching Professor at Institute of Intelligent Machines, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has published more than 100 articles in famous international journals including Anal. Chem, Chem. Comm., Nanotechnology, Adv. Funct. Mater., Carbon, etc. Prof. Liu is Director of Committee of Nano-Environmental Technology, Chinese Society of Nanoscience and Technology, Member of Anhui Society of Micro/Nano Technology, China, and Editorial board member of “International Journal of Information Acquisition”.

September 1986 - September 1988: Visiting Scholar, Department of Chemistry, Brown University, USA

 

Research field:

His current research interests include gas sensing nanomaterial and nanodevice, biomimetric material, functional nanomaterial and their applications in drinking water treatment.
