CAS vice president, Dr. Zhan Wenlong inspected Hefei Institutes of Physical sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences(CASHIPS) on August 28th. Dr. Zhan and other visitors successively inspected the High Magnetic Field Laboratory (HMFL), Institute of Plasma Physics(IPP), Anhui Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (AIOFM), Institute of Intelligent Machines (IIM), and Hefei Science and Technology Museum which was co-constructed by Hefei Institutes of Physics, Anhui Province and City of Hefei. The visitors also had extensive exchange and discussions with leaders and scientists from CASHIPS on subjects such as Disciplinary development and construction of big science bases.

President Zhang’s visit was accompanied by leaders of Hefei Institutes of Physical Sciences, including Director, Dr. Wang Yingjian, Party Secretary, Dr. Kuang Guangli, and director assistant, Dr. Wu Sifa.
