On Sept. 25th, 19 members of the “Die Wissenschafts-Pressekonferenz (WPK)” visited Hefei Institutes of Physical Science.
Out of their special concerns of china’s environmental issues, German journalists paid special interests on AIOFM’s relevant researches. The dialogue and exchange between scientists and journalists covered many topics, including the contribution of AIM-developed environmental monitoring technology to the Beijing Olympic Games, and the Shanghai World Expo, policies and recommendations to improve environmental quality, energy saving and emission reduction. In IPP, the reporters’ questions focused on the technical difference between EAST and German fusion device, the biggest challenge EAST are currently facing, prospect of ITER project and China's energy policies.
