Chinese and Korean Scientists met again for next generation dye-sensitized solar cells on August 15. About sixty participants from Key Lab of Novel Thin-Film Solar Cells, China and Center for Next Generation Dye-sensitized Solar Cells, Korea, attended the symposium.
The topic of this symposium focused on the novel photoanode materials such as SnO2 and echinoid-like TiO2 particles or single crystalline TiO2 nanowire array, dye sensitizer optimization, interface modification and engineering, gel electrolytes new redox mediator as I-/(SeCN)2, new energy nanomaterials and their application in dye-sensitized or organic/inorganic hybrid solar cell. After the symposium, the participants from Korea visited EAST Tokamak and ASIPP solar lab.
This annual bilateral symposium is held in rotation in China and Korea, with the first in Huangshan, China in 2010, and the next, the fourth, will be held in Korea.
