At the invitation of Dr. Jianli Qiao, the director of The Key Lab of General Optical Calibration and Characterization, Professor Philippe Goloub and other scientists from the Laboratory of Atmospheric-Optics, Lille University of Science and Technology, France, paid a two-days visit at AIOFM. Dr. GOLOUB delivered a presentation entitled “Brief Overview of Research on Aerosol Remote Sensing in LOA”. The presentation was warmly received . the Laboratory of Atmospheric-Optics, Lille University of Science and Technology, was established in 1960. It currently holds 4 research groups and 55 staff members. Their researches cover various areas, such as tropospheric and stratospheric aerosol, Stratospheric Ozone, cloud-radiation and sea color. They are also responsible for running the PHOTONS Aerosol observation network and designing the space-borne polarimeter. |
