Scientists from Lille University visited AIOFM

   At the invitation of Dr. Jianli Qiao, the director of The Key Lab of General Optical Calibration and Characterization, Professor Philippe Goloub and other scientists from the Laboratory of Atmospheric-Optics, Lille University of Science and Technology, France, paid a two-days visit at AIOFM. Dr. GOLOUB delivered a presentation entitled “Brief Overview of Research on Aerosol Remote Sensing in LOA”. The presentation was warmly received . the Laboratory of Atmospheric-Optics, Lille University of Science and Technology, was established in 1960. It currently holds 4 research groups and 55 staff members. Their researches cover various areas, such as tropospheric and stratospheric aerosol, Stratospheric Ozone, cloud-radiation and sea color. They are also responsible for running the PHOTONS Aerosol observation network  and designing the space-borne polarimeter.
