Prof. Thomas Dolan from Illinois University began his two-month class on Magnetic Fusion Technology (MFT) to ASIPP students and young scientists on May 17, as a Visiting Professor for Senior International Scientists of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
This is Prof Dolan’s second series teaching in ASIPP. Director Prof. Jiangang Li welcomed him and conferred to Prof. Dolan the Letter of Appointment of CAS visiting Professor, which is signed by CAS president Lu Yongxiang.
Besides lectures, Prof. Dolan will also help with research on lithium-wall fusion reactors during his visit.
