An old friend of ASIPP, Dr. Clement Wong, from General Atomics (GA), came to visit from January 8 to 17. The ten-day visit activity including academic exchanges and reports. 

Working for years at GA, Clement has rich experience in nuclear fusion research. In a series of his lectures, Clement introduced the latest advances on DIII-D, especially in PSI, DiMES (Divertor Materials Evaluation System) and blanket design. Whereafter, Prof. Songlin Liu and Dr. Fang Ding from ASIPP gave presentations. 

During the visit, Clement toured around the labs and the EAST hall.
