In June 30th,at the invitation of Dr. Zhikun WU, Dr. Gangli WANG from Department of chemistry at Georgia State University visited the Institute of Solid State Physics (ISSP), Chinese Academic of Sciences. 

Dr. Gangli WANG presented a seminar at at the Institute of Solid State physics. Starting with the similarity between metal nano clusters and small organic molecules, Dr. WANG explained the atomic structure and unique chemical properties of metallic nano clusters. Subsequently, he introduced the potential applications of Metal nano clusters in the areas of energy, biology, and catalysis.The recent advances in Wang’s groupwas also reported. Dr.Gangli WANG's talk aroused great interest and hot discussion among the participants.
