
GAO Xiang
Dr. GAO Xiang, Professor, the Director of the Fusion Reactor Integration Design Division.
He received his PhD degree from Institute of Plasma Physics, Hefei Institues of Physical Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1997. Dr. Xiang Gao worked at Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute as a visiting scholar from 1996 to 1997, and as JAERI research fellow from 2000 to 2002.

Research Field:
Main interests are plasma physics, Tokamak experiments, plasma diagnostics. The research currently emphasis focused on the CFETR integration design, and the development of pedestal plasma diagnostics in the EAST tokamak.
