The birds around me hopped and played,
Their thoughts I cannot measure:—
But the least motion which they made
It seemed a thrill of pleasure.
The budding twigs spread out their fan,
To catch the breezy air;
And I must think, do all I can,
That there was pleasure there.
--- By William Wordsworth
Spring is a time to renew the excitement and zest for life that lives inside. Here we have the Spring Equinox!
According to Chinese lunar calendar, Vernal/Spring Equinox, one of the 24 solar terms, met us on Mar. 20. It will end on April 5 this year.
"Vernal Equinox" indicates two meanings. One is that length of the day and night time are about equal on this day as sun is directly above the equator. Secondly, it's the mid-point for the spring season.
After the equinox, the sun will move northwards, which lead to longer day time in the Northern Hemisphere and shorter day in Southern Hemisphere.
Among a thousand blended notes, you may find the science island is waking up from cold winters, with birds chirping everywhere, trees growing their new leaves and a variety of flowers blossoming.
Enjoy the spring time!
