The 19th "Public Science Day" was recently held from May 13th to May 14th, providing science enthusiasts nationwide with free access to the latest scientific and technological innovations.
The Hefei Institutes of Physical Science, which is one of the institutes under CAS, welcomed nearly 10,000 people over the past two days to explore the wonders of technology and experience the allure of science.
More than one hundred researchers from the institute interacted with the public on-site, while key laboratories and major scientific facilities were opened up for visitors to explore. The event also featured exciting science experiments and thematic exhibitions, aimed at showcasing major technological innovations, promoting a scientific spirit, and inspiring curiosity about science among the public, particularly young people.
Public Science Days have been a beloved tradition since 2004, and this year's event marks the first time in three years that it has been fully offline. Let's take a closer look at what unfolded at today's remarkable event!
