A multicultural garden event was held at Hefei Science Island Kindergarten on September 24 to celebrate the upcoming National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival. The event brought together children, parents and teachers to explore the beauty of Chinese ethnic cultures through interactive activities.
The event featured a parent-child costume show, a group reunion dance and traditional games. Children dressed in costumes representing different ethnic groups, while some international children joined the costume show wearing traditional clothing from their home countries, adding a touch of cultural diversity to the celebration.
During the costume show, children introduced and displayed the unique styles of various ethnic groups. Families then joined a group dance and sang together, creating a joyful atmosphere of togetherness.
The highlight of the event was a multicultural garden tour, where families collected stamps by taking part in traditional games, including archery, bamboo pole jumping, throwing lucky bags and other activities inspired by different ethnic cultures.
The event gave children a chance to experience different cultures through fun activities and enjoy the festive atmosphere with their families. By dressing up, playing games and sharing the joy of the celebration, children created happy memories together on Science Island.
