Hybridization is the cross breeding of two genetically different varieties or species. Hybrid crops are supposed to show increased vigor over the two parents in yield and other traits.

A group of researchers from Institute of Intelligent Machines of HFIPS, who have been exploring new variety of crops, works not only in labs, but also in the field each spring for hybrid wheat.

Now it's the season again. Despite of the hot weather, they repeat the work just like what they have done in the past years.
