Aviation flight test has been conducted by a research group from Hefei Institutes of Physical Science (HFIPS) in the sea area of Huizhou, Guangdong province since Nov.
Their research focuses on polarization filtering and atmospheric correction module that can be directly applied in the existing airborne optical detection equipment, so as to improve the application efficiency of the existing airborne optical imaging equipment in the complex environment.
This is the first time they realized the air-to-to-sea surface coordinated polarization measurement test.
