Chinese Lunar New Year is the most important festival celebrated in China. It is a time for family reunions, feasting, gift exchange, and celebrations.
On Jan.16, international scholars on Science Island, who are away from home in the upcoming holiday, received some special gifts from International Collaboration Division, HFIPS.
Some Chinese New Year decorations were included in the gifts. The Chinese character of Fu, Spring Festival couplets and window paper-cut, will help to explore more about this fascinating folk festival.
