The Tunisian National Center for Nuclear Science and Technology (CNSTN) signed an agreement on Monday with ASIPP, HFIPS to establish the first plasma physics laboratory at the National School of Engineers in Tunisia.
This agreement was signed on the sidelines of the third session of the Tunisian School of Plasma Physics and Nuclear Fusion, which began on Jun. 12 in Hammamet, Tunisia.
The agreement was signed by Adel Trabelsi, Director General of the CNSTN, and SONG Yuntao, the Director General of ASIPP.
"This agreement stipulates the establishment of the first laboratory of plasma physics and nuclear fusion in Tunisia. This constitutes a significant scientific event for Tunisia," said Mr. Trabelsi.
The signing of this agreement "is part of the pursuit of scientific cooperation in one of the most important areas of scientific research in recent years," he continued, emphasizing that another cooperation agreement has also been signed between ASIPP and the University of Tunis El Manar to support scientific cooperation between the two institutions.
