The 2nd Staff Dragon Boat Competition of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) kicked off on June 10th in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Despite scorching temperatures reaching 35°C, 21 teams from different CAS units gathered in the city to showcase their enthusiasm.
After two intense rounds of racing, the representative team from HFIPS secured a sixth place, completing the course in 3 minutes and 16.24 seconds.
The remarkable performances of the competing teams were met with resounding cheers and applause from the onlookers.
