On September 30, the China Government Friendship Award ceremony was held in Beijing. Dutch expert Tony Donné , nominated by the Institute of Plasma Physics, received the prestigious medal and certificate for his contributions to international cooperation.
As a distinguished expert in fusion research, Donné has facilitated constructive feedback from international fusion experts on the operation and research of EAST, as well as the design and construction of experimental reactors. Additionally, his efforts have advanced diagnostic research at the institute and promoted the development of international talent in the field.
