Despite being far from home, foreign postdoc and students at Science Island came together to celebrate the 2024 Spring Festival with warmth and joy. Unable to return to their home countries, they embraced the festive spirit by organizing a special gathering on the island.
The celebration featured a range of activities, with participants crafting their own handmade lanterns—a cherished tradition of the Chinese New Year. Laughter and cheer filled the air as they played games, enjoyed each other's company, and shared in the excitement of the season.
“This is a memorable way to celebrate the Spring Festival,” said one participant.
