From April 1 to 2, Professor Joachim Wosnitza, Director of the Dresden High Magnetic Field Laboratory (HLD) and Professor at Dresden University of Technology, visited the High Magnetic Field Science Center of HFIPS.

On April 2, he attended the High Magnetic Field Science Forum and delivered a lecture titled “Materials Research Using Very High Magnetic Fields.” In his presentation, he introduced the core facilities and technical advantages of the Dresden High Magnetic Field Laboratory and shared the latest research achievements of his team in exploring strongly correlated electron systems and topological materials under extreme magnetic fields.

This visit enhanced mutual understanding between the two laboratories and laid a foundation for future collaboration.

Professor Wosnitza has long been engaged in cutting-edge research on correlated electron systems, unconventional superconductivity, and topological materials under low-temperature high magnetic fields.
