Recently, the research group of Professor ZHANG Weijun from Anhui Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (AIOFM), Hefei Institutes of Physical Science (HFIPS), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), achieved in-situ measurement of aerosol single scattering albedo (SSA) vertical profile for the first time.
Recently, a research team from Institute of Health and Medical Technology, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science (HFIPS) of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), developed an analytical service platform called CRISPRimmunity, which was an interactive web server for identifying important molecular events related to CRISPR and regulators of genome editing systems.
A research team led by associate Prof. YIN Lihua from Institute of Solid State physics, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science (HFIPS), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) demonstrated clear control of magnetism (M) at low electric fields (E) at room temperature in a recent research. The E-induced phase transformation and lattice distortion were suggested to result in the E control of M in multiferroic BiFeO3-based solid solutions near the morphotropic phase boundary (MPB).
Recently, Professor YANG Wulin's research group from the Institute of Health and Medical Technology, Hefei Institute of Physical Sciences of Chinese Academy of Sciences developed a new technology for early screening and monitoring of cervical precancerous lesions.
Thailand Tokamak-1 (TT-1) achieved a significant milestone on the night of May 11th, as it successfully completed its 100th plasma discharge in front of over 30 scientists and researchers from China and Thailand. Located in the Wang Nakhon district of Thailand, this event marked the first successful demonstration of TT-1's physics experimental capabilities at its new location.
