A research team led by professor GAO Xiaoming from Hefei Institutes of Physical Science (HFIPS) of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) developed a near-infrared (NIR) dual-channel oxygen-corrected laser heterodyne radiometer (LHR) in the ground-based solar occultation mode recently, which was for measuring vertical profile of wind field in the troposphere and low stratosphere.
Recently, the research team led by Prof. JIANG Changlong from Institute of Solid State Physics (ISSP), proposed a new sensing system for detecting carbendazim residues by utilizing ultrathin graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) nanosheets and rhodamine B (RB).
A novel phase correction algorithm of interferometric data for the optimally designed Greenhouse gases Monitoring Instrument-II (GMI-II) was developed recently to meet the greenhouse gases detection demand.
Recently, a research team led by Prof. ZHANG Xin from the High Magnetic Field Laboratory, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, made a series of new advances in the effects of moderate and high static magnetic fields (SMFs) on mice models of various diseases, including the delay of natural ageing in healthy mice by continuous exposure to moderate intensity quasi-uniform SMFs, the mitigation of kidney damage in mice induced by the chemotherapeutic drug cisplatin, and the harmful effects of high gradient SMF exposure on mice with severe type 1 diabetes.
Recently, Prof. DING Junfeng and his team from the Institute of Solid State, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science (HFIPS) of Chinese Academy of Science (CAS), together with Prof. ZHANG Genqiang from the University of Science and Technology of China, achieved band gap optimization and photoelectric response enhancement of carbon nitride in graphite phase with nitrogen vacancies under high pressure.
