On July 6, the opening ceremony of the 2026 International Summer Research Camp was held at the Institute of Plasma Physics, HFIPS, CAS, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
More than 50 students from seven countries, including Russia, Italy, Thailand, Mexico, Hungary, Ecuador, and Kazakhstan, attended the ceremony. The camp provides an international platform for students to explore fusion science, participate in research activities, and engage in cross-cultural exchange.
The two-week program includes experimental activities, academic lectures, and cultural exchanges, offering international students an opportunity to learn about China’s fusion research and experience the scientific environment of large-scale research facilities.
