On September 8th, ITER Director-General Petro Barabaschi and Deputy Director-General LUO Delong visited ASIPP. They were warmly welcomed by Academician LI Jiangang and ASIPP Director SONG Yuntao.
During the meeting, LI Jiangang and SONG Yuntao introduced the ITER procurement package and the ongoing engineering assembly work at ASIPP, HFIPS.
They visited facilities including EAST, ITER procurement package component R&D workshop, CRAFT Park, etc. Mr. Barabaschi emphasized the importance of further cooperation and exchanges between the ITER organization and ASIPP, particularly in engineering assembly and other areas.
