The 7th Asian Joint Symposium on Aerospace Engineering Concludes in Hefei, China

From October 29 to November 1, 2024, the 7th Asian Joint Symposium on Aerospace Engineering was held on Science Island. Organized jointly by AIOFM, HFIPS, CAS and the School of Astronautics at Beihang University, the symposium aimed to provide a platform for scientists and engineers to discuss cutting-edge ideas, methodologies, and outcomes, fostering communication and collaboration across disciplines and nations.

Over 100 experts and scholars from countries including China, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Pakistan, India, and the UAE gathered to engage in discussions on a wide range of aerospace engineering topics. These included aerospace materials and structures, aircraft design and manufacturing, propulsion and power systems, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics, flight dynamics, aerospace control navigation and guidance, environmental control and life support systems, satellite communication and control, space stations, unmanned aerial vehicles, remote sensing and GIS, as well as artificial intelligence and its applications. The symposium featured keynote addresses, invited presentations, oral reports, poster displays, vendor exhibitions, and technical tours.
