A delegation from the Swiss International Research and Development Organization for Complementary Medicine (IRCM) visited the Cancer Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, HFIPS, CAS in Hefei on September 24 for discussions on integrative cancer rehabilitation, intelligent traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and international health tourism.
The visit was jointly organized by the hospital and the School of Humanities and International Education and Exchange, Anhui University of Chinese Medicine.
During the visit, the hospital introduced its development, medical research integration, and practices in combining TCM with modern medicine in cancer diagnosis and treatment. The delegation also toured the hospital's health management center, TCM clinic and international medical department, and visited the Smart Cancer Rehabilitation Center. They learned about the use of modern TCM techniques, rehabilitation equipment and intelligent rehabilitation devices in cancer care and recovery.
The exchange provided an opportunity for the two sides to share experience in integrative cancer care and explore potential areas for future cooperation.
