The 64th Annual Meeting of the American Physical Society's Division of Plasma Physics, was held virtually and in person at the Spokane Convention Center in Spokane, Washington from Oct. 17 to 21.
A 1.8 K superfluid helium system was developed by a group of scientists from Institute of Plasma Physics (ASIPP), HFIPS of CAS. The system was debugged on October 20th, and successfully produced 1.8 K superfluid helium.

A research team led by Prof. SI Fuqi from Anhui Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (AIOFM), Hefei Institutes of physical Science (HFIPS) of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) developed a new method to retrieve the tropospheric ozone profiles. The corresponding results were published in the journal Science of the Total Environment.
