Recently, a research team led by Prof. FEI Guangtao and Prof. XU Shaohui from the Institute of Solid State Physics, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science obtained high-performance visible-near IR photodetectors based on high-quality Sn2+-sensitized PbS films.
A novel mobile nucleic acid analysis system, MS2 device, was developed by Anhui Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics of Hefei Institute of Physical Science (HFIPS), Chinese Academy of Sciences recently. This research results have been accepted and published as the cover article of Analyst. The mobile sensing technology based on the integration of microfluidic devices and smartphones, namely MS2 technology, is an emerging and rapidly developing research field in recent years. By integrating complex detection accessories and application interfaces, MS2 realized shortened and simplified test. In recent years, the MS2 technology has shown great potential for various highlevel molecular diagnostic applications.
Recently, the researchers led by Prof. XU Wen from Institute of Solid State Physics, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science (HFIPS), along with their collaborators from Chongqing Medical University, conducted an investigation into the influence of carbon nanodots (CNDs) on sonoluminescence effect. They found that the color of sonoluminescence driven by intense ultrasound can be altered from UV-blue in water into orange by the presence of CNDs in water.
A new self-control method of exercise intensity basing on Rating of Perceived Exertion (RPE), which was developed by researchers from Hefei Institutes of Physical Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, successfully achieved accurate control of exercise intensity without the aid of any equipment. The result was published on Medicina dello sport and Annals.
Recently, Professor YANG Liangbao, from the Institute of Health and Medical Technology, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, developed an ethanol-extraction surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) strategy for highly sensitive detection of poisons in oily matrix. Relevant results published in the Spectrochimica Acta Part A: Molecular and Biomolecular Spectroscopy. In recent years, the cases of poisoning in oil matrix occurred frequently, but the composition of oil matrix is complex, and
