Recently, a research group led by Associate Prof. LI Hua from Institute of Plasma Physics (ASIPP), the Hefei Institutes of Physical Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, along with Dr. TONG Wei’s research group from Hefei University of Technology (HFUT), revealed the neutrons irradiation damage mechanism of high-power thyristors used in quench protection system.
Recently, a group of researchers from Institute of Solid State Physics, the Hefei Institutes of Physical Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, designed and developed advanced microfluidic sensor arrays that use fluorescent probes to simultaneously visualize and quantitatively detect multiple heavy metal ions in environmental water in real-time.
Recently,a research group led by Prof. LIU Yong and Prof. ZHU Ling from the Hefei Institutes of Physical Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, developed a spatial encoding of centrifugal microfluidic disc integrated smartphone-controlled (SEDphone) platform for influenza virus subtypes detection.
Recently, a research group led by Prof. CHEN Changlun from the Hefei Institutes of Physical Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, along with Institute of Energy, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center, developed advanced cobalt-doped nickel hydroxide bipolar electrodes and non-noble metal catalysts, significantly improving the efficiency and stability of two-step water electrolysis for hydrogen production.
Recently, a research team led by Prof. WU Yuejin in Institute of Intelligent Machines, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science developed an ammonia emission estimate system for rice fields in China. The research results were published in Resources, Conservation & Recycling.
